Anne Peters, MD, FACP, CDE
Board Member
Anne Peters is Professor of Medicine and Director of Clinical Diabetes Programs at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California.
Dr. Peters has a research center in East Los Angeles where she works with her team to prevent diabetes in the surrounding communities. Dr. Peters has research funding through two National Institutes of Health grants, and has been funded by the American Diabetes Association, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and the Keck Foundation. Her research has been published in leading medical journals including JAMA, Annals of Internal Medicine, the American Journal of Medicine and Diabetes Care.
Dr. Peters has served as Chair of the American Diabetes Association Council on Health Care Delivery and Public Health and its Diabetes Research Foundation, as well as on the Scientific Sessions Meeting Planning, Professional Practice and Publications Committees, and the Legislative Subcommittee.
Dr. Peters is a member of the American Diabetes Association's Pinnacle Society.
