Brian Bertha
Board Member
Brian Bertha is Chief Business Officer for Crescendo Bioscience in South San Francisco, California. He has responsibility for marketing, sales, R&D, manufacturing, information technology and business development. Prior to that, he served as Senior Vice President of Patient Relationship Solutions and of Marketing for McKesson U.S. Pharmaceutical. Before that he worked as Vice President with Baxter Healthcare and worked as a consultant with Bain & Co.
Bertha served as Chair of the San Francisco Community Leadership Board in 2010 and 2011. He was also Chair of the San Francisco Step Out: Walk to Stop Diabetes event for two years. Brian holds a master of business administration from IMD in Lausanne, Switzerland, a juris doctorate from Harvard Law School in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. He is a member of the American Diabetes Association's Pinnacle Society.
