David K. Bloomgarden, MD, FACE
Board of Directors
David K. Bloomgarden is an attending physician with the Scarsdale Medical Group, LLP and is board certified in Internal Medicine with a subspecialty in Endocrinology and Metabolism.
He has been an American Diabetes Association volunteer for more than 25 years. On the national level he is currently a member of the American Diabetes Association Research Foundation Board of Directors and has served on the Community & Volunteer Development, Fund Raising, and Research Policy Committees.
He is a member and past Chair of the Westchester Community Leadership Board, and helps plan the local Step Out and Diabetes EXPO events. David earned his BA from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA and his MD from the New York University School of Medicine in New York City.
He is a member of the American Diabetes Association's Pinnacle Society and Summit Circle.
