Jane K. Kadohiro, DrPH, APRN, CDE
Board of Directors
Jane K. Kadohiro is an Assistant Professor at the University of Hawaii School of Nursing and Dental Hygiene and is a Certified Diabetes Educator and Advance Practice Nurse at the Queen's Medical Center in Honolulu.
She has been an American Diabetes Association volunteer for more than 30 years. At the national level, Jane has twice served on the Scientific Sessions Meeting Planning Committee and has been active on a number of community programs and advocacy work groups.
Locally, Jane is a current member of the Hawaii Community Leadership Board, and is serving as the Chair of their Advocacy Committee. Jane is past president of the American Association of Diabetes Educators.
She earned a BA in Sociology, her BSN, MS in Nursing, MPH and DrPH from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
