Jay Dunigan
Board Member
Jay Dunigan is President of Diabetes Strategies, LLC, consulting with corporations working in the field of diabetes, especially in the diabetes technology arena and in understanding patient motivations. He has more than 26 years of experience in the diabetes care industry. He has been part of two successful start-up companies involved in diabetes glucose monitoring technology, acquired by Johnson & Johnson and Abbott Laboratories. He has worked on gaining reimbursement access for continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) and launched diabetes technology worldwide.
Dunigan has been volunteering with the American Diabetes Association since 1973. He was a member of the Association's Industry Advisory Board and currently serves on the American Diabetes Association's Community Volunteer Development Committee and the Legislative Subcommittee. He has been Chair of the Eastern Massachusetts/ Boston Community Leadership Board for six years. Jay has also been involved in the Boston area American Diabetes Association EXPO. Jay received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Marketing from Merrimack College in North Andover, Mass. His family has been affected by type 1 and type 2 diabetes for generations. He is a member of the American Diabetes Association's Pinnacle Society.
