Mary T. Korytkowski, RN, MN, MD

Mary T. Korytkowski is Professor of Medicine, Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism with the University of Pittsburgh.
Under her leadership as Medical Director of the Outpatient Center for Diabetes and Endocrinology at the University of Pittsburgh, the care of patients with diabetes was standardized according to American Diabetes Association standards of care and applied to the work of the Division of General Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, and Community Medical Centers.
She has also been an Instructor, Department of Medicine with Johns Hopkins Hospital and an Instructor of Nursing and Assistant Professor with Western Carolina University. Dr. Korytkowski served as a member of the American Diabetes Association Professional Practice Committee from 2007 through 2009.
Korytkowski is involved in the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists – American Diabetes Association (ACOG-ADA) partnership and cardiometabolic risk project and is a member of the work group for a master's course in management of type 2 diabetes.
