Patti Urbanski, MEd, RD, LD, CDE
Board Member
Patti Urbanski is Diabetes Program Coordinator/Nutrition and Diabetes Specialist for the Duluth Family Practice Center and Family Medicine Residency Program in Duluth, Minnesota.
She previously worked as an inpatient hospital clinical dietitian, a chief clinical dietitian, and the coordinator of a hospital-based diabetes education program.
Locally, she has supported the American Diabetes Association for more than 20 years, having served as Secretary and board member early on. She is also immediate Past Chair of the Diabetes Care and Education Practice Group of the American Dietetic Association. Additionally, she has supported the Minnesota Dietetic Association and served three terms on the Advocacy Committee of the American Association of Diabetes Educators.
Urbanski has an undergraduate degree from the Pennsylvania State University and a master's degree in education from the University of Minnesota.
