Richard Farber, MBA
Vice Secretary/Treasurer
Richard Farber is a Managing Partner at McKendree Capital, an investment management company in Los Angeles. He has served the American Diabetes Association for nine years primarily at the national level. He is currently a member of the national Board of Directors and is serving as Chair of the Investment Subcommittee. He was also Chair of the Finance Committee. He has participated in several Tour de Cure rides and attended American Diabetes Association EXPO events in his region.
Farber has donated consistently to the American Diabetes Association Research Foundation for the past 10 years and is a firm supporter of the Association's research and scientific efforts.
He earned his bachelor of arts from Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and his Master of Business administration from the UCLA Anderson School of Business in Los Angeles. Farber is a member of the American Diabetes Association's Pinnacle Society.
