Umesh Verma
Board Member
Umesh Verma is CEO and Founder of Blue Lance, Inc., a premier global provider of information security and IT audit software. For more than a quarter century, the mission of Blue Lance has been to ensure the protection of data for banks, corporations, health care organizations and government in more than 40 countries. Umesh plays an active role in the planning and development of global technology. He is a member of the Executive Committee of the Greater Houston Partnership Board of Directors and is Chairman of the Technology Infrastructure Committee. As a national leader in the area of emerging technologies, he also serves on the Advisory Board of the Houston Technology Center and the Board for The Center for Houston's Future. Additionally, Umesh worked closely with Mayor White's office and city officials and provided thought leadership around Houston's Wi-Fi Initiative.
Umesh is Chair of the American Diabetes Association Community Leadership Board in Houston. He has provided service in the Houston area Step Out: Walk to Stop Diabetes as well as corporate sponsorship and leadership recruitment.
Umesh is a graduate of the Executive Management Certification program in Finance & Accounting and Mergers & Acquisitions of Rice University in Houston, Texas.
