Eli Lilly is a national sponsor of the Tour de Cure. They also provide annual financial support to families needing economic assistance to attend Camp programs. Lilly is a Patron supporter at Postgraduate Course, a meeting to learn more about the advancements in diabetes management. Through the Eli Lilly & Company Foundation, the company is a founding sponsor of Pathway To Stop Diabetes, a research program designed to find the next generation of diabetes researchers.
As a pharmaceutical sponsor of the American Diabetes Association at Walmart Wellness Days, Janssen Pharmaceuticals supports the efforts of the ADA to improve general wellness and make a significant impact on the prevention of diabetes by educating those who are at risk. On July 21 and September 22, Walmart Wellness Days offers free critical health screenings that include blood pressure, glucose, and vision. Once screened, participants are connected with appropriate ADA programs, resources, and diabetes management support and tools.
Merck is collaborating with the Association on America's Diabetes Challenge, a national awareness campaign encouraging patients to set their diabetes goals. The company supports diabetes research through the American Diabetes Association-Merck Clinical/Translational Science Postdoctoral Fellowship awards and Pathway to Stop Diabetes, the Association's program designed to find the next generation of diabetes researchers. BD Medical-Diabetes Care supports and provides supplies to the American Diabetes Association's Diabetes Camp Program, which focuses on diabetes management and education for children living with diabetes. In addition, BD supports local community events across the country including the 2018 Tour de Cure: Garden State (Step Out Walk in New Jersey), Safe at School program, and What Can I Eat Masters Trainers. BD has also formed national employee teams for Step Out and Tour de Cure.
