Empowering Americans to prevent and manage diabetes is the goal initiative between American Diabetes Association and Catherines. During November through December 25, Catherines donates $5.00 for the sale of each specialty designed "Generosity Tee" to the American Diabetes Association.

Dannon® supports two of the Association's important healthy living programs: Recipes for Healthy Living and Living With Type 2 Diabetes. As a National Promotional Sponsor of Step Out: Walk to Stop Diabetes, Davis Vision will help raise awareness about the connection between diabetes and eye complications alongside Visionworks, another division of HVHC, Inc. Gold's Gym is a national sponsor of Tour de Cure, The American Diabetes Association's nationwide cycling event that helps to increase awareness about diabetes. Each year, Gold's Gym teams up with us to raise funds and promote the importance of physical activity in preventing and managing diabetes. Since 2004, Gold's Gym has been one of the Tour's Top Fundraising Teams and has raised over $3.2 million to support the mission of the Association. Hass Avocado Board
The Hass Avocado Board, an agriculture promotion group established to promote the consumption of Hass Avocados in the United States, has joined forces with the Association to help increase awareness about the risk factors of diabetes, particularly amongst Hispanics - a community disproportionately impacted by the disease. Through their "Fresh Avocados – Love One Today®" and "Aguacates Frescos – Saborea Uno Hoy®" (www.saboreaunohoy.com) programs, the Board will work with the Association to elevate their messaging around the nutritional benefits of fresh avocados and the importance of eating healthy to help prevent and/or delay the onset of type 2 diabetes. To help accomplish this, new recipes and educational materials will be developed in English and Spanish and distributed through Association channels such as events, social media and diabetes.org.
Janssen Pharmaceuticals and James Earl Jones are working together to inspire millions of people to take control of their type 2 diabetes and imagine loving their numbers. Through this national program, Janssen Pharmaceuticals is supporting the American Diabetes Association's education, research, awareness, and advocacy initiatives. Additionally, Janssen Pharmaceuticals and the Association have collaborated with the Washington Redskins on the health and wellness initiative "Teaming Up to Take On Diabetes."
