Charles Kopke Medal for Service
Gerard B. Nee, CPA
Gerard B. Nee, CPA, from Somerville, New Jersey received the American Diabetes Association’s prestigious 2010 Charles Kopke Medal for Service. The award is presented to the Secretary/Treasurer for outstanding leadership and service to the Association.
Mr. Nee is a partner at Wagner, Morey & Nee, LLC, in New Jersey. He is a Certified Public Accountant and Registered Investment Advisor.
Mr. Nee has been a volunteer with the American Diabetes Association for 18 years. He has served on the National Finance Committee and is a member of the Investment Subcommittee, and Executive Compensation Committee. Mr. Nee has also served as Secretary/Treasurer for Shaping America’s Health–Association for Weight Management and Obesity Prevention, a former sister society to the American Diabetes Association. He is also a member of the American Diabetes Association’s Pinnacle Society.
Locally, Mr. Nee is a member of the Driving for the Cure golf tournament committee and the Community Leadership Board in Northern New Jersey.
