Stanley Panasewicz, CMA, from New Brunswick, New Jersey received the American Diabetes Association’s prestigious 2010 Wendell Mayes, Jr. Medal for Outstanding Service in the Cause of Diabetes in Orlando, Florida.
Mr. Panasewicz has been a leader with the American Diabetes Association for more than 20 years. He has served as the Eastern Region’s first Chair of the Board, Secretary/Treasurer, and as Chair of the Association’s Finance Committee. Throughout his tenure, Mr. Panasewicz has helped enhance the Association’s operating efficiencies and has been an effective fundraiser. For 21 years he has served as chair of the Association’s Driving Fore the Cure golf tournament, raising more than $2 million for the fight against diabetes.
He currently serves as senior director of investor relations and has been project director of mergers and acquisitions for Johnson & Johnson, and operations and marketing controller for Ortho-McNeil Pharmaceutical.
Mr. Panasewicz is a two-time recipient of Johnson & Johnson’s Volunteer Recognition Grant Award, which he has donated to the American Diabetes Association.
