About Us

Certain circumstances may prevent an individual or group from receiving an award. Please keep the following criteria in mind when submitting a nomination:

• Current national committee chairs and members are not eligible for an award selected by the committee on which they serve.
• Individuals who have received a national award from the American Diabetes Association in the three years prior to any given nominations cycle are not eligible.
• Current American Diabetes Association Executive Committee members or individuals who have held a national officer position within the past three years are not eligible.
• Current staff members are not eligible for consideration for these awards. Former staff members are not eligible for consideration for three years past their date of separation.
