About Us

To honor an individual, group or organization in the media that has excelled in generating visibility and awareness of diabetes and/or diabetes-related health and wellness issues.

Criteria for Selection

• An individual, group or organization working in traditional or new media (including but not limited to print, broadcast, radio or online) that has made a significant contribution to increasing public awareness of diabetes, diabetes prevention, or diabetes-related health issues.
• Consideration for this award is not limited to diabetes-specific work; however, nominations with a focus on diabetes will receive priority.
• An individual may be nominated or may wish to submit a self nomination.
• Incomplete nomination forms will not be considered.
