About Us

Nominees for the Association's National Service Achievement Awards are submitted directly to the Association during an open call period each year.

All applications are reviewed against the specific criteria for the respective award by a standing volunteer committee which also takes into account additional information about candidates as necessary and appropriate to determine the most worthy candidates. The committee develops the slate of recommended nominees for these awards which is submitted to the Association’s Executive Committee for review and approval in late summer.

National Service Achievement Awards are bestowed in late fall.
