Karen Talmadge has been an American Diabetes Association award-winning volunteer since 1993. She also serves as Research Foundation Vice Chair and as the Chair of Pathway to Stop Diabetes --an initiative with a goal of funding 100 scientists over the next decade.
Lurelean B. Gaines, RN, MSN
President, Health Care & Education
Lurelean B. Gaines is a long-time volunteer for the American Diabetes Association. She is Chair of the Latino Initiatives Subcommittee and is a member of the Community Initiatives Committee.
John E. Anderson, MD
President, Medicine & Science
John E. Anderson has been an American Diabetes Association volunteer for more than 20 years. His years of service have included a previous stint on the Board of Directors, former Chair of the Advocacy Committee, and as a member of the Strategic Marketing work group.
