Christine T. Tobin‚ MS‚ MBA‚ CDE is President‚ Health Care & Education of the American Diabetes Association‚ the nation’s largest voluntary health organization leading the fight to Stop Diabetes®. She has been a diabetes educator for 26 years in a variety of clinical settings.
Tobin has been an American Diabetes Association volunteer for 25 years. She has served on the Association’s National Board of Directors‚ as well as the Advocacy‚ Provider Recognition‚ Research Policy‚ and Finance committees. At the local level‚ Tobin is a member of the Atlanta Community Leadership Board and has served on the Father’s Day Council. She is also a member of the American Diabetes Association's Pinnacle Society.
She has conducted seminars on diabetes-related topics‚ has written articles for diabetes publications‚ and has been a liaison to federal agencies including the Health Care Financing Administration and the Food and Drug Administration.
Tobin is a graduate of Western New England College with a Masters degree in Business. She also holds a Masters in Nursing from Regis University in Colorado. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Fitchburg State College in Massachusetts.
