Nash M. Childs, PE, Chair of the Board
Chair of the Board
Nash M. Childs, PE, is Chair of the Board of the American Diabetes Association, the nation's largest voluntary health organization leading the fight to Stop DiabetesSM. He is also Executive Vice President of Bancroft Construction Company in Wilmington, Delaware.
Childs has been an American Diabetes Association volunteer at the community, regional, and national levels for more than 20 years. His national service with the Association has included a previous term on the Board of Directors, and as a member of the Fund Raising, Audit, Finance, Nominating and Community & Volunteer Development committees. At the local level in Delaware, Nash is currently Co-Chair of the Diabetes Classic 100 Golf Outing, has served as Chair, and is a member of the Wilmington, Delaware/Del Mar Community Leadership Board. He is also a member of the American Diabetes Association's Pinnacle Society and Summit Circle.
He is a graduate of the College of Engineering at the University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree, and is a member of the Delaware Association of Professional Engineers.
