Jane Reusch, MD
Jane Reusch is a Professor of Medicine at the University of Colorado at Denver and Health Sciences Center. She is also the Director of the Diabetes Care Team at the Denver VA Medical Center. She is a diabetes researcher with both clinical and basic research science programs.
She is also a prior chair of the Colorado Diabetes Control Program which is run by the State Department of Health and the Environment. Jane has been a volunteer of the Association for more than 20 years. She hosted lab visits for local donors and traveled to Kansas and Nebraska to meet with prospective donors for the Association's Research Foundation.
She is a member of the Association's Research Policy Committee and assisted with the 2012 Scientific Sessions Meeting Planning Committee. Jane has actively participated in her local Step Out: Walk to Stop Diabetes, Tour de Cure and Diabetes EXPO. In 2001, Jane was honored with the Association's Women of Valor Award for Colorado.
Jane received her doctor of medicine from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis and her bachelor of science from the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana, and Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. She is a member of the Association's Pinnacle Society.
