Take the first steps toward making an exercise plan. Talk with your health care team or an exercise physiologist about what kinds of exercise you'd like to do.
 
You might do something that keeps your heart strong and uses up extra blood sugar, like walking or dancing. You also might do gentle stretching or strength training to keep your joints flexible and your muscles strong.
