On November 5, 2016, the American Diabetes Association of Western Pennsylvania host the 2nd Annual Bridge to Wellness (BTW) Expo focusing on wellness information, health resources, and interactive experiences. Bridge to Wellness provides a forum for intensive exchange of questions and answers about health issues, proactive measures, wellness and where necessary, disease-state prevention and management.
Research continues to prove that healthy, active lifestyles enable people to live longer with a higher quality of life, enhancing communities and reducing healthcare expenditures. While addressing the needs of those individuals living with diabetes, and other related disease states, with state-of-the-art clinical services, we need to improve the health of individuals, families, and communities through prevention and management.

From glucose testing to eye exams, free health screenings will be available. Insured or uninsured, this service is offered to all interested participants while supplies last.

From fitness demonstrations to inspirational presentations, this area provides attendees with the tools to pursue wellness on their own terms.
Giant Eagle Healthy Eating Stage
Highly nutritious can be easy and delicious! Throughout the day, cooking demonstrations are delivered by local culinary and diet experts.
