Maryland - Camp Glyndon
Lions Camp Merrick is home to the Glyndon Diabetes Program located in Charles County, Maryland along the shores of the Potomac River. ADA supported and ACA accredited, Camp Glyndon is specifically geared to fit the needs of diabetic youth. Campers enjoy traditional camp activities expertly balanced with an educational program to promote the philosophy that diabetes is a consideration, not a limitation. The program includes archery, swimming, art's & crafts, high and low ropes course, canoeing, field sports and much, much more. Evening activities vary by night but traditionally include dances, hayrides and a campfire complete with sing alongs, story telling, and discussions held by campers. Lions Camp Merrick is sure to create exciting camp memories that will last a life time.
Diabetes Camp Sessions:
Family Session: Thursday July 17 to Sunday July 20
Session 1: Sunday July 20 to Friday July 25
Session 2: Sunday July 27 to Friday August 1
Session 3: Sunday August 3 to Friday August 8
Camp Fees: $25 registration fee; $650/session week
