Nebraska - Hot Shot Central
This day camp for children with diabetes is held in Hastings, Nebraska. The campus includes an air-conditioned environment for children to learn more about their diabetes while having fun. The camp does include one overnight at a the local church YMCA that is optional. Activities include swimming, crafts, music, games and sports as well as diabetes education. This camp is independently operated and receives marketing and financial assistance from the American Diabetes Association.
