Latinos and Diabetes

Por Tu Familia Adult Prevention Toolkit

We are excited about the opportunity to offer you the Por Tu Familia Adult Prevention Toolkit sponsored by the Abbott Fund which includes some popular Por Tu Familia materials. This toolkit was designed for organizations to help us increase the reach of our efforts to improve the quality of life for Hispanics/Latinos with diabetes and those at risk of developing the disease. Only through dedication and collaboration will there be success in stopping this epidemic.

The kit contains the following:

  • 25 Latin Flavor in the Kitchen Recipe Samplers
  • 25 Por Tu Familia Brochures
  • 25 Healthy Lifestyle bilingual tip-sheets
  • 2 Por Tu Familia posters (1 in English and 1 in Spanish)

To order a free copy of this kit for your organization, please call our National Call Center at 1-800-DIABETES (342-2383).
