Non-Refundable Deposit: $20
Camp Fee: $80

About Camp Independence

.Camp Independence is designed and operated by the American Diabetes Association and takes place at Camp Buckhorn on Paris Mountain in Greenville, SC. Doctors, Nurses, Certified Diabetes Educators, and Dieticians staff the camp on a volunteer basis.

We welcome children who have diabetes along with their siblings and friends. Camp Independence is organized to provide an environment for children with diabetes where they can learn about the disease, its care and management as well as interact with others who have diabetes. Camp Independence is a wonderful opportunity for children and parents to learn more about diabetes and to meet others who are sharing the same experiences.
