Ginger Mint Tea

4 servings/serving size: 1 cup

4 green tea bags
2 tsp. fresh peeled, grated ginger
1 orange, sliced
1 lemon, sliced
¼ cup mint leaves
¼ cup sugar or Splenda

  1. Boil the tea bags in 4 cups water. Using a piece of cheesecloth, wrap the ginger and tie (or just place inside a tea baller). Add the ginger to the tea and steep for 10 minutes. Add the orange, lemon, and mint and steep for 1 hour. Strain. Add the sugar or Splenda, pour over ice cubes, and serve.
