Bank of America Logo

For more than 21 years Bank of America has supported the Association's mission through the American Diabetes Association Visa® credit card program. Consumers may support the Association with Bank of America's Unite.Give.Cure™ Visa® optional debit card which enables customers to give back and show their loyalty to their favorite charity. This program benefits the American Cancer Society, American Diabetes Association and the American Heart Association. Bank of America has contributed nearly $3 million dollars to the Association.


Boar's Head Boar's Head Provisions Co., Inc., a leading provider of premium delicatessen products, is a supporter of the movement to Stop Diabetes. And is working with the Association to champion diabetes prevention by promoting healthy lifestyle options through good eating habits and physical fitness. Boar’s Head’s works to distribute healthy eating information and promotes taking the American Diabetes Association risk test so that consumers know their risk for diabetes.


Bumble Bee BWFL Logo

Bumble Bee Foods, North America’s largest branded self-stable seafood company offering a full line of canned and pouched tuna, salmon, sardine and specialty protein products, supports the Association in its efforts to encourage healthy choices, particularly when it comes to food selection and exercise. Bee Well For Life, Bumble Bee’s interactive healthy living program, works hand-in-hand with the Association to educate and empower individuals to learn more about diabetes prevention and management and tips for living a healthy life. In addition to these efforts, Bumble Bee has selected the Association as one of its three non-profits to receive a $50,000 donation. In addition, for every mile you walk, run or cycle and log on www.beewellforlife.com, the Association will receive a $.10 donation for every mile up to $150,000.


catherinesCatherines, a chain of specialty fashion stores for plus size women, has joined our efforts to Stop Diabetes by raising funds for the Association and educating their customers about this devastating disease. They support the Association by holding a "Round Up to Stop Diabetes" fundraising campaign where shoppers at all Catherines stores were encouraged to help in the fight against diabetes by rounding up the total amount of their purchase to the next dollar. In addition, Catherines sells eco-friendly Fashion Shopper Totes and donated $1 from each bag to support the Association, and their stores support their local communities by creating Catherines’ teams to support Step Out: Walk to Stop Diabetes.


Equal FinalMerisant Company, the makers of Equal® Sweetener, has been a national sponsor of the American Diabetes Association for more than 17 years and recently their PureVia® All natural Zero Calorie Sweetener also became a supporter. Both Equal and PureVia support the Association's premier fundraising event, Step Out: Walk To Stop Diabetes and promote healthy eating options for people living with diabetes.In addition to the brands financial commitment, their support includes promotion of the walk event in their national print advertising and direct mail campaigns.


Kraft Foods

Kraft Foods is a proud supporter of the Stop Diabetes® movement and one of the founding sponsors of the Association’s Living With Type 2 Diabetes program that offers help, hope and support to people newly diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. As part of its commitment to encourage smart eating and healthy living, Kraft is helping to increase awareness of type 2 diabetes through its online resources. Kraft’s support includes providing healthy recipes and tips in the program’s e-newsletters, promotion of the program to its members and the distribution of patient tools and resources through direct mail and online communications, as well as healthcare professional outreach.

Lubriderm has joined the Stop Diabetes® movement by launching a cause marketing promotion featuring its moisturizing products formulated to support healthy skin care. They will also help to create awareness about the importance of living a healthy lifestyle, emphasizing the connection between healthy skin care and diabetes because research has shown that those living with diabetes are at higher risk of developing skin complications. In addition, Lubriderm will support Stop Diabetes® by distributing skin care educational material through the Association’s Center for Information and Community Support. NutrisystemNutrisystem D, a product of Nutrisystem, a leading developer of weight loss products and services is supporting the American Diabetes Association as a National Sponsor of Stop Diabetes. Nutrisystem D will work with the Association to help educate consumers and healthcare professionals about the importance of healthy eating and maintaining a healthy weight for people with type 2 diabetes, and promote Stop Diabetes and Step Out: Walk to Stop Diabetes through cause-related campaigns.  


Splenda LogoMcNeil Nutritionals LLC, maker of Splenda® Brands is committed to helping people and their families with diabetes by focusing on the overall nutritional needs of the diabetes community. Splenda brand is a founding sponsor of the Association's New Living With Type 2 Diabetes program developed to support newly diagnosed patients with type 2 diabetes. T-fal will provide support for the American Diabetes Association Alert Month and American Diabetes Month, the Association’s initiatives, which communicate the seriousness of diabetes and the importance of diabetes prevention and control. Through the company’s PR and marketing initiatives and the use of digital and social media platforms, the brand is helping to create awareness about the importance of living a healthy lifestyle and emphasizing that exercise, good nutrition and portion control can make a difference in the fight to stop diabetes.


WellPoint Foundation Logo The WellPoint Foundation, dedicated to enhancing the well-being of individuals and families in communities that its WellPoint health plans serve, is helping the Association reach its strategic goal of slowing the conversion rate from pre-diabetes to diabetes. The WellPoint Foundation’s support of Diabetes Alert is allowing the Association to “alert” a nation about the seriousness of diabetes and reach more consumers who may be at risk for developing the disease. The Foundation is also supporting a major effort to enlist community-based organization to distribute risk assessment tools to their constituents as part of the movement to Stop Diabetes
