Grilled Fresh Mission Figs
Fresh figs are harvested from May through October—the ideal time of the year for outdoor grilling. So, get figgy with it at your next cookout. Figs make a gorgeous, gourmet accent to any cookout (or cook-in when the weather is frightful). Serve these fabulous figs as a dessert or, if you like, as an appetizer or side. They’re succulent served with vanilla or lemon yogurt. And they’re out of this world when paired with blue cheese.
