Hill & Valley — a leading U.S. manufacturer of sugar-free and no-sugar added bakery products —supports the Association's Step Out: Walk to Fight Diabetes event. Through their relationship with local grocery retailers located in more than 20 markets across the country, Hill & Valley is helping to increase awareness of diabetes and encourage consumers to support the cause by participating in the Step Out events. In addition, they provide complimentary refreshments for walkers through special Step Out Cafés in select markets.
Kmart Pharmacy is helping stop diabetes by raising funds through their annual in-store Step Out: Fight Diabetes Pin-up campaign. In addition, Kmart Pharmacy is creating awareness around the importance of preventing and managing diabetes to their customers by hosting Diabetes Days in their pharmacies across the country and distributing educational information.
Merisant Company, the makers of Equal® Sweetener, has been a national sponsor of the American Diabetes Association for more than 16 years and recently their PureVia® brand also became a supporter.
