Diabetes is an urgent health problem in the Hispanic/Latino community; 12.8 percent of the Hispanic/Latino population in the U.S. live with diabetes. For Hispanic Heritage Month, the Association will focus on the importance of healthy eating.

You can learn how to use the Plate Method to create a meal that is well balanced and can help manage blood glucose levels. Create your own healthy plate at home, then share a photo on social media using #CreateYourPlate!
