Participants receive:

  • 11 coaching calls with a trained coach, fitness specialist or registered dietitian*

  • Unlimited inbound access to coaches via phone, email and live chat

  • Program guide, tape measure and food journal (printed and online)

  • Library of e-lessons, articles, videos and podcasts focused on weight loss and diabetes care

  • Getting Started Guide, tape measure, food journal

  • Monthly e-Newsletter

  • Trackers for weight, healthy eating, physical activity, stress, biometrics

  • To-do list from dedicated coach

  • Social support community

  • Optional in-home BioIQ A1C/Diabetes and Cholesterol Panel Test Kit (results available via the Weight Talk D website and via aggregate reporting to the client)

Early detection and treatment of diabetes and its complications are critical, not only to improve health outcomes but also to reduce costs associated with the disease. According to the American Diabetes Association, the total direct and indirect cost of diagnosed diabetes in 2012 was $245 billion, a 41 percent increase in just five years.
