American Diabetes Association Weight Talk® Program

Offer your employees a personalized coaching program designed to achieve measurable, sustainable weight loss for participants who are overweight or obese. Brought to you through collaboration between the American Diabetes Association and Alere Health, the American Diabetes Association Weight Talk® Program applies an evidence-based curriculum and engages participants in telephonic coaching and web-based activities to lose weight and prevent prediabetes, type 2 diabetes and diabetes complications. Local American Diabetes Association Resources

Work with your local American Diabetes Association to develop an evidenced-based healthy worksite program that meets the needs of your employees.

In addition, you can work with your local American Diabetes Association on team-building activities that take place in your community. By participating in one of the Association's signature events, Step Out: Walk to Stop Diabetes, Tour de Cure, or Community Walk to Stop Diabetes, you can reinforce the physical activity components in this program and be recognized in your community as a company who is dedicated to wellness.
