About the Camp
Camp Aurora is a day camp for children with diabetes. The program offers an exciting week of outdoor activities such as swimming, fishing, horseback riding and canoeing, while learning valuable lessons on positive diabetes management.
The American Diabetes Association is committed to providing educational information and referral services for children with diabetes and their families, advocating for fair and quality treatment of children with diabetes in schools, and increasing federal funding for diabetes research.
Fee includes camp t-shirt, group photo, snacks and medical supplies.
Camper Fee: $150
Fee waived for Cook Children's Hospital patient. Campers are accepted based on availability—first come, first served. Scholarships are available.Apply for Camp

• CITs - 15 to 17 years
CIT Fee: waived
Deadline: April 15, 2016
Complete the online registration. Interviews will be conducted. If selected, CITs must attend mandatory training.

All American Diabetes Association campers and staff at 2016 Diabetes Camps are required to be up to date on immunizations. More information can be found in the Camp application and supplemental forms. For questions, contact your local American Diabetes Association office.
