About the Camp

The American Diabetes Association Montana Camp is held at Beartooth Mountain Christian Camp property outside of Fishtail. Beartooth Christian Camp provides services for the American Diabetes Association Camp Montana on a contract basis. Beartooth Christian Camp includes heated dormitories with indoor bathroom facilities, a main lodge and dining hall.

The American Diabetes Association has providing camps to meet the needs of families and children with diabetes since 1970. Originally called Camp Diamont, the camp has gone through various transitions over the years. In 2013, the camp was renamed to Camp Montana and was extended to a full week. While the primary objective of camp is to provide a safe, fun, traditional experience, attention to the medical needs of each camper is always a priority. Each camper has the opportunity to learn and practice valuable diabetes self-management techniques under medical supervision.

Camp Montana is funded through the generous support of corporations, foundations, clubs and organizations, third party events, the Montana Tour de Cure and individual gifts. Monetary gifts of all sizes go a long way! A few ways your donation can make a difference this year are by helping provide camp snack boxes for low blood glucose, decorations for the dance, sending a teen on a full day white water raft trip and helping us provide camperships to give to kids in need.

Participate in the American Diabetes Association's Tour de Cure Montana in 2017 at the following levels and receive a discount for camp tuition in 2018! For every $500 your raise receive $50 OFF the following year's camp! Note: $50 deposit fee not included.


    All American Diabetes Association campers and staff at 2016 Diabetes Camps are required to be up to date on immunizations. More information can be found in the Camp application and supplemental forms. For questions, contact your local American Diabetes Association office.
