Rufus Dorsey is an actor and writer, known for Ali (2001), Pearl Harbor (2001), Dick (2005) and Gimme Shelter (2013). He is also a certified personal trainer/fitness coach, living with diabetes and has created "D-FORCE for Life," a Diabetes Empowerment Movement. Rufus will be on the Divabetic Stage at noon presenting "My Journey to a Winning Season."
Mr. Divabetic and his team of Pittsburgh-based healthcare professionals will present "The Diabetes Time Machine" on the Divabetic Stage. Learn how discoveries over the ages have lead to today's understanding of diabetes. This lively and colorful retelling of the history of diabetes will feature the key moments, major discoveries, amazing innovators and technological advances. Join us for panel discussions, multi-media presentations, fun fitness demonstrations and educational games and prizes!
