Getting to the Chicago EXPO
McCormick Place
2301 S. Lake Shore Drive
Chicago, Illinois 60616

Handicap Accessibility and Parking
It is highly recommended that all handicap participants be dropped off at Lakeside Center Taxi Drop Off area, Gate 37. This is located right in front of the elevator that can take you to the show room floor. If you park in Parking Lot C, there will be handicap spaces available, however it is a long walk to the elevator from the lot. There are ramps leading from the Parking Lot C to the elevator, however please account for the long distance by taking breaks occasionally and requesting help if needed. The walk can take anywhere from 10 - 30 minutes. We will have volunteers available on the ramps to help participants needing wheelchair assistance.
Wheelchairs are available for rent through Scootaround located in the Lakeside Building on Level 2 near Hall E. You may rent a wheelchair through there website:

Public Transportation
This is highly recommended: McCormick Place has created a Metra Train and CTA Bus printable map which can be found here, to help you get to the show. For information on the different routes and schedules listed below, contact the Regional Transportation Authority via their website at www.rtachicago.org or call their Transit Information Hotline at 312-836-7000. Or you can visit the CTA website here.
CTA Bus
CTA buses run approximately every 15 minutes (Visit the CTA Bus Tracker to find your next bus!) and drop off is located at the main entrance to the south building on Martin Luther King Drive. Look for signs to direct you to the show floor. The #3 King Drive bus and the #21 Cermak bus make stops at McCormick Place. CTA riders may pay with cash as they board.
Metra Electric District
Service from the Randolph Station (near the Fairmont Hotel and Millenium Park) to McCormick Place begins early morning, with more frequent pick-ups during rush hours. Shuttle connections (via CTA bus) can be made to the METRA system at Chicago Union Station, Ogilvie Transportation Center and LaSalle Street Station.
The "L"
Although the "L" trains do not make stops at McCormick Place there are stations located within walking distance. For more information about specific routes visit the CTA website at www.transitchicago.com/riding_cta/default.aspx.
Taxi/Passenger Drop off is located at Gate 31, Lakeside Center
Parking
Parking is in Underground Parking Lot C located east of Lake Shore Drive, adjacent to the Lakeside Center. Handicap parking, use Lot C Upper Level, West side (use West side elevator) or you may drop off participants at Gate 31, Lakeside Center Taxi Drop Off area. There is an elevator located near Gate 37 that will take participants to the front of the show. Volunteers will be available to help guide.
