There are a lot of activities for kids & families at EXPO Denver! Don't miss this one stop shop, for everything diabetes. Nearly every insulin, meter and pump company will be exhibiting and willing to answer all your consumer questions.

Youth Zone

Come play fun, active games like Dance, Dance, Revolution and enjoy some physical activity with special guests the Colorado Rapids!

New to EXPO this year - the Teddy Bear Clinic!
Have your child bring his or her Teddy Bear and practice giving injections in different areas on the body, checking blood sugar and changing pump sites with the well trained medical professionals at the Teddy Bear Clinic found in the Youth Fun Zone at Expo!

Parent Safe at School Workshop

Do you have a school age child? Learn everything you need to know about keeping your child safe at school with type 1 diabetes and your legal rights. MiChelle McGarry, ADA Lead Parent Advocate, will be presenting at 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on the Education Stage.

Stop by the ADA Experience booth right as you enter EXPO to learn about Family Link, Camp Colorado, Tour de Cure & Step Out: Walk to Stop Diabetes!

Camp Colorado
Camp Colorado registration opens online March 18th. Visit Expo and ask questions about Camp Colorado directly to the amazing volunteer medical team. Not only will your child have a once in a lifetime experience, but parents get a break from diabetes for one week every summer! Found in the ADA Experience at Expo.

Everyday Wisdom Kit
Is your son or daughter newly diagnosed with type 1 diabetes? Stop by the Family Link booth in the ADA Experience at Expo and pick up an FREE Everyday Wisdom Kit, this family education tool will help you and your child learn all about diabetes and you can share this kit with friends and family! Also meet other volunteer parent mentors who have had children living with diabetes for years! Get all the great tips and hints to keep you and your child sane!
