New England Tour de Cure's

The Tour de Cure is a series of fundraising cycling events held in 44 states nationwide to benefit the American Diabetes Association.

The Tour is a ride, not a race, with routes designed for everyone from the occasional rider to the experienced cyclist.

Whether you ride 10 miles or 100 miles, you will travel a route supported from start to finish with rest stops, food to fuel the journey and fans to cheer you on!


The North Shore Tour de Cure - Sunday, May 19, 2013

Register Today to Take the Ride of Your Life!

The North Shore Tour De Cure is a one-day cycling celebration bringing together cyclists of all ages and levels. There are four fantastic route options including a 15 mile ride through charming countryside and nearby parks as well as longer and more challenging route options. The 100 mile Gran Fondo route is the longest and most challenging, offering cyclists an epic ride throughout the North Shore, including two timed segments. We truely have something for everyone!

Route Options: 15 miles, 31 miles, 62 miles (metric century) and the 100 Mile Gran Fondo.

The fundraising minimum per rider is $200. For 100 mile Gran Fondo registration, fundraising is optional as you covered this minimum through your registration fee.

All Tour de Cure routes are safe and fully supported with route marshals, SAG vehicles, mechanical support and rest stops stocked with hydration and a variety of snacks to keep you fueled. At the finish, you will be welcomed with cheering volunteers, great food and more.

The NEC Tour de Cure offers you your choice of a memorable weekend, or an entire week of cycling, adventure, and fun in the picturesque and historical settings of New England’s scenic seacoasts, and bold mountain ranges.

You will enjoy indoor accommodations, full breakfasts and dinners, and much more as you strive towards completing your personal adventure.Our routes feature full service rest stops, Support-and-Gear (SAG) vehicles, sweep vehicles, bike mechanics and anything you might need along the way.

When you cross the starting line each day, you’ll know that you have the all the support you need, both behind and in front of you.

The Kennebunks Tour de Cure is a one-day celebration bringing together cyclicsts of all ages and levels that starts and ends at the Wells Reserve at Laudholm in Wells, ME. With five route length options, anyone can participate. All routes, except the 5K follow Main's scenic coastline, featuring rocky coves, sandy beaches and breath-taking vacation homes, all in the bicycle-friendly community of Southern Maine.

Route Length Options: 5K, 25K, 50K, 100K and 100Mi

No matter which distance you choose you'll be fully supported with route marshals, SAG vehicles, mechanical support and rest stops stocked with hydration and a variety of snacks to keep you fueled.

At the finish, you will be welcomed with cheering volunteers, great food and much more.
