Step Out Events

Register today for the Step Out: Walk to Stop Diabetes fundraising campaign in Northern New Jersey and Northeast Pennsylvania! The Step Out campaign is one of the American Diabetes Association’s largest fundraisers of the year to support type 1 and type 2 diabetes research, education and advocacy programs.
Sign up online and start fundraising now, and then join us this fall at one of our fun-filled walks to celebrate your part in helping us exceed our $680,000 fundraising goal for 2012!
Franklin Lakes Step Out - October 7, 2012
Join together with more than 1,000 local families, friends and co-workers committed to stopping diabetes at the campus of Presenting Sponsor BD on Route 208 in Franklin Lakes, NJ. Walk together along the beautiful nature path around the complex, play in the Kid’s Zone, and check out the Diabetes and Wellness Fair for the latest education and information. As always, it will be a day of family fun and awareness for diabetes.

Lehigh Valley Step Out - Saturday, October 13, 2012
Join together with hundreds of local volunteers committed to stopping diabetes on the morning of Saturday, October 13, 2012 at the SteelStacks Campus in Bethlehem, PA. Pre-walk activities will include vendors, kids’ games, face painting, balloon animals, live music and much more. After a fun kickoff and warm-up, everyone will walk through South Bethlehem. The event concludes with lunch from Applebee's and Car Show. There will also be many activities open to the public at the Steel Stacks campus. The Step Out event is a wonderful, inspiring way to spend a beautiful fall morning in the Lehigh Valley.

Princeton Step Out - Sunday, October 21, 2012
Join together with families and companies from Mercer County on the morning of Sunday, October 21, 2012 at Princeton Forrestal Village in Princeton, NJ for a beautiful fall walk and fair. Before walking, learn more about diabetes and healthy living in our vendor area, and enjoy music from WPST. After completing 1 to 3 miles through the village, everyone will gather for a barbecue, games and family entertainment at the campus of Presenting Sponsor Novo-Nordisk.

Bridgewater Step Out - Saturday, October 27, 2012
Join us at the Somerset Patriots Ballpark in Bridgewater, NJ on the evening of Saturday, October 27, 2012 for the Central New Jersey Step Out Walk to Stop Diabetes. The walk will offer a haunted trail, trunk or treats, car show, pumpkin picking & painting, a petting zoo, a performance from School of Rock and much more! Also, the event will feature our sponsors and local supporters in our vendor and ‘Ask the Expert’ area during registration.
