Orange County California
Orange County is increasingly feeling the effects of diabetes as statistics show that 136,416 have received a diabetes diagnosis in our county alone. However, an estimated 100,000 more go undiagnosed. It is estimated that one out of every three children born in the United States after 2000 will be directly affected by diabetes.
That is why the American Diabetes Association's Orange County office is so committed to educating the public about how to prevent and manage diabetes and to provide support those living with the disease.
We are here to help.
Become a Diabetes Advocate!
Life isn't fair for people with diabetes. First, there is the simple fact of coping with a chronic illness. Second, there are the barriers that prevent people with diabetes from enjoying the same opportunities at the rest of the population. Our Advocacy efforts work to bring down the barriers and fund critical diabetes research. Take action and become a Diabetes Advocate today!
