A1C Adult Type 1 Community
Meet Other Adults with Type 1 Diabetes in Colorado
The American Diabetes Association Colorado Area started the A1C (Adult Type 1 Community) Group approximately two years ago as a new component of our Family Link Program. A1C offers a connection for adults with type 1 diabetes to interact, socialize and become involved in the larger diabetes community.
A1C holds 3-4 events a year, varying from happy hours to hikes to ski trips and more! Whether you've had diabetes for 1 year or 40, A1C offers the opportunity to get to know other adults who live every day with diabetes. Family, spouses and friends are always welcome and encouraged to attend events, as we all know that diabetes doesn't just affect the person with diabetes.
