North Dakotans are increasingly feeling the effects of diabetes as thousands of people suffer from the disease, and many others may have diabetes and not know it! It is estimated that one out of every three children born after 2000 in the United States will be directly affected by diabetes.
That is why the American Diabetes Association's Fargo office is so committed to educating the public about how to stop diabetes and support those living with the disease.
We are here to help.
Tour de Cure®
June 15, 2013
The Tour is a ride, not a race, with routes designed for everyone from the occasional rider to the experienced cyclist. Whether you ride 10 miles or 100 miles, you will travel a route supported from start to finish with rest stops, food to fuel the journey and fans to cheer you on!
Tour de Cure 2013 registration opened in August and we already have 58 riders registered and $604.00 raised. Do you have type 1 or type 2 diabetes? If you ride in the Tour de Cure you could be celebrated as a Red Rider!
Register today! For more information, contact Stephanie Chimeziri at 701-234-0123 ext. 6681 or schimeziri@diabetes.org.
