Honolulu — On Thursday, August 7, 2014, the American Diabetes Association will host its 20th Annual "Driving Fore A Cure" Golf Tournament at the Hawaii Prince Golf Club in Ewa. Day festivities begin at 10:00 a.m. Shotgun start will commence at Noon, followed by an awards banquet. The Silent Auction features fantastic prizes like two round trip tickets to any Alaska Airlines Destination, a City Mill $500 Gift Card, a Best Buy GoPro Hero 3, luxurious hotel accommodations, and fine dining experiences including a beautifully hand crafted surfboard by Mr. Dennis Varde, a type 2 diabetic volunteer.

Teams will be able to enjoy comfort stations supported by Ruth's Chris Steakhouse and Hawaiian Grown Catering. Exciting Hole-In-One prizes include 100 Hardwood Legacy Trees, a Koa Rocking Chair from Martin and MacArthur, four cars from Mercedes Benz of Honolulu, $5,000 from Servco Insurance Services and Seven-Eleven Hawaii.
