Arkansans are increasingly feeling the effects of diabetes as thousands of people suffer from the disease, and many others may have diabetes and not know it! It is estimated that one out of every three children born after 2000 in the United States will be directly affected by diabetes.
That is why the American Diabetes Association's Little Rock office is so committed to educating the public about how to stop diabetes and support those living with the disease.
We are here to help.
April 12, 2014
Starting at beautiful Murray Park (at the Little Rock side if the Big Dam Bridge), the Central Arkansas Tour de Cure offers riders a choice of five routes ranging from a 3 mile Family Ride and an easy ride of 20 miles to a more challenging 100 mile route with a couple of routes in between.
Either way, this tour is not a race—so ride at your own pace and enjoy the journey. Cyclists at all levels of expertise will have a unique day filled with good food, a "healthy living" zone, and much more! All routes are safe and fully supported with SAG vehicles, mechanical support and rest stops stocked with hydration and snacks to keep you fueled.
