Tennesseeans are increasingly feeling the effects of diabetes as thousands of people suffer from the disease, and many others may have diabetes and not know it! It is estimated that 1 out of every three children born after 2000 in the United States will be directly affected by diabetes.

That is why the American Diabetes Association's Memphis office is so committed to educating the public about how to stop diabetes and support those living with the disease.

Step Out: Walk to Stop Diabetes

We Step Out Because...

Step Out to do our part to Stop Diabetes! Participants are changing the future and making a positive impact in the lives of those who are affected by diabetes.

Step Out participants are committed to walk and raise money in this inspirational event not because 26 million people in the United States have diabetes, but because they walk among us in our lives and at the event.

Step Out has come to an end for this year but will be back again next year. Same time and place. If you would like to see what a great time we had check us out on facebook.

Diabetes NOW!

Join us on November 17, 2012 at Baptist Memphis Education and Conference Center at 6027 Walnut Grove Road for a day of activities, entertainment and information on diabetes and healty living.

In an effort to raies awareness of Diabetes and the importance of healthy eating, Boneheads is giving a portion of all sales for the week of November 11-17 to the American Diabetes Association. They will also perform a cooking demostration at Diabetes NOW on Saturday, November 17, 2012. See you there!!

Tour de Cure is BACK!!

Join us April 27, 2013 for the ride of your life - Tour de Cure!

The Memphis area American Diabetes Association is gearing up for it's annual Tour de Cure starting at Mud Island River Park. We will have 3 routes (12, 35, 62 mile rides) that provide something for everyone. Bring the whole family and enjoy the camaraderie with fellow cyclists. There will be information, food, fun and music.
