Step Out: Walk to Stop Diabetes

Step Out is the largest community walk in Miami dedicated to finding a cure for all types of diabetes. This event offers a memorable day of walking and fun as well as the personal satisfaction of completing a 5K and doing your part in the fight to Stop Diabetes. The American Diabetes Association provides food, beverages, medical support, family-friendly activities and a health festival.
Join us in September at 8:00 a.m. at the NEW Miami Marlin's Stadium! Every step counts in the fight to Stop Diabetes!

Tour de Cure is the American Diabetes Association’s premier cycling event, Tour de Cure attracts cycling enthusiasts for tour routes that encompass everything from a breezy 25 mile course, a grueling 62-mile and a 100-mile ride! There’s even Mountain Bike Trails and a Family Fun ride along the coast for the novice and kid-friendly riders at the event site!

This two-day seminar provides the South Florida diabetes practice community the latest research & management strategies in an integrated & practical format. Feria de Salud @ Calle Ocho

Feria de Salud @ Calle Ocho is an outdoor community event intended to reach local Hispanics with the important message that they may be at risk for diabetes. Feria captures the festive elements of a street fair, but maintains the important aspects of choosing and managing a healthier lifestyle for the entire Hispanic family.
The atmosphere at Feria includes music, dancing, nutritional information, cooking demonstrations, speakers on topics related to diabetes, and a variety of product and service booths.
