John is Executive Director for the Louisiana and Mississippi offices. John believes one of the most rewarding aspects of his job is working, on a daily basis, with donors and volunteers who are passionate about diabetes and making a difference in our local communities. His personal goal is to ensure organizational growth and development in order to impact and positively make changes that better our community, protect the rights of those living with diabetes, increase funding for diabetes research and raise awareness about diabetes.

Darby brings a lot of experience to his position as Development Manager in the Louisiana and Mississippi markets. Darby has been in the nonprofit arena for over 20 years, 9 years has been with the American Diabetes Association. Over the years, Darby has had the opportunity and pleasure to oversee many of our signature events. Outside of work, Darby serves on a number of professional and social organization's boards.

Kathleen is a Development Manager responsible for Father of the Year and program grants. Kathleen has over 13 years of experience in a combination of university and traditional nonprofit settings. She is passionate about impacting our community in a positive way and believes one must be involved to make a difference. She wears many hats within the community, serving as a board member for the Association of Fundraising Professionals and Friends of Rivertown, and is a member of a variety of organizations.

Adam is a Development Manager focusing his time on Tour de Cure and School Walk for Diabetes. Adam has been with the Association for about a year and is looking forward to each new challenge he faces. Adam has been involved with the Association for over 15 years, since his days as a Camp Victory camper. Adam believes working here is a truly rewarding experience. He looks forward to work every day because making a difference will one day save a life.

Treva is our Associate Manager of Community Relations and Mission Delivery. A long title that sums up our efforts to reach communities through programs and outreach activities in Louisiana and Missisippi, while ensuring our mission is part of everything we do. Treva has been with the Association since September 2011. She handles Camp Victory, a two week summer camp free for children with diabetes in Louisiana. Treva also coordinates programs for the state, including Safe at School workshops, Family Link activities and Live Empowered initiatives.
