Family Link
Family Link is an educational, advocacy and family to family outreach program that equips families with the tools to increase diabetes management skills. Family Link is a local program that enables families of kids or teens with diabetes to get to know each other and increase support networks. Programs included in Family Link are:

- Circus Flora - Saturday, June 22, 2013, Midtown St. Louis
- Red Bird Retreat - YMCA Trout Lodge near Potosi, MO, Ages 5 to 14, November 2 to 3, 2013

Live Empowered
A series of education programs targeting the high risk African American community including:
- The Project POWER Movement
- National ID Day at Church Campaign
- Total Wellness Adult Toolkit
- Choose to Live: Sisters Strong Together
Madison County Education Program
The American Diabetes Association partners with SIU-E School of Pharmacy creating a day of diabetes education and awareness. They do this through breakout workshops, a keynote speaker, vendor fairs and diabetes screenings.
Living with Type 2 Diabetes
Living with Type 2 Diabetes is a year-long program which helps support the newly diagnosed offering information to help individuals live with diabetes. Enrollees receive delicious and healthy recipes, tools, and information to help take care of their diabetes, and opportunities for support online and in the community. It provides type 2 diabetes resources to help individuals better understand the disease and manage it effectively.
Health Fairs/Speaker's Bureau
The Association provides information for health fairs and recruits volunteers to serve as speakers providing information on pre-diabetes, diabetes, risk factors of diabetes. It acquaints individuals with the programs and services of the American Diabetes Association
American Diabetes Association® Alert Day®: March 26, 2013
Alert Day is a one day "wake-up call" asking the American public to take the Diabetes Risk Test to find out if they are at risk for developing type 2 diabetes.
