Georgians are increasingly feeling the effects of diabetes as thousands of people suffer from the disease, and many others may have diabetes and not know it! It is estimated that one out of every three children in the United States will be directly affected by diabetes.
That is why the American Diabetes Association's Savannah office is so committed to educating the public about how to stop diabetes and support those living with the disease.

November is American Diabetes Month
Each November the American Diabetes Association celebrates American Diabetes Month (ADM). All month long we unite as a community with special events at programs to raise awareness of diabetes, improve the education of the population on diabetes, and hear from those who live with challenges of diabetes every day!
Please join us in our effort this month by submitting a personal image to the Association's Facebook mosaic and show what "A Day in the Life of Diabetes" means to you. For more information about this effort, visit diabetesmosaic.org or 1-800-DIABETES (800-342-2383).
